Some one asked Paulo Koehlo ( the Alchemist fame Brazilian writer) what he would like to be written on his epitaph,the stone on his grave. “… that Paulo died while he was alive” said the writer. “Well, every one who dies is alive at the time of his death,”said the person. “ No,replied the author,it’s not true.If you are repeating yourself each day doing the same thing without adding something new, avoiding risks and paying no price for what you achieve, you are dead before your real physical death.” This is what I intended to put on my wall on 15th August. But I was saddened by Sindhurakshak blast at Mumbai Naval dockyard and also due to the high pitch assumptions of print and A/V media over Namo/ Mamo’s speech, I put a deliberate check to post it here a day later. The best thing we would have done on this 15th aug, is to swear in the name of God and our beloved country that I too, shall die while I am very much alive.
