Some people I love to see come in the public library where I do a lot of my written work: The guy who wears 70s era green dress shoes (with shorts and a 70s era dress shirt and 70s era haircut) and cannot stand to sit in the swivel chairs in front of the computers, and so moves one of the stationary chairs over there -- but only after leaning on it a couple of times to see if it is going to collapse; The old guy who disinfects book covers using the hand sanitizer; The young parents whose children cannot stand to be apart from them -- its a long way to the childrens section -- long enough for the parent to do any work; All the old guys who read Value Line -- on paper; All the old guys and gals who read Consumer Reports -- on paper (I have never seen a woman reading the Value Line on paper: perhaps they know that the information in it is a week old by the time it gets to the library); The old guy in a pony tail wearing lime green Kavu shorts who tries to sit near the WiFi box to get a better signal and never reads anything on paper -- no, wait, thats me . . .
