GM ..I feel like telling my FB buddies abt an engagement I had yesterday. When I told someone I would be speaking there, they made a face, saying That church is so small! And there are hardly no members! I dont think that man was called to Pastor. At that it gave me an impression of what to expect because I had never met the pastor nor had I seen the church. But when I got there I saw several newer nice shiny cars parked out front. When I got in, there were about 20 people but almost every single person was some kind of professional, good looking suburban types, children in college types, serious people. The Pastor and his wife were spiritual, respectful and welcoming of the Holy Spirit, praying people. It may not have been a lot of people there yesterday. but I knew it was a great opportunity to speak Spirit and Life to a select group of influential people. This church was in the hood but this very humble pastor obviously has connections enough to get these kind of people to his church without a parking lot, no one to play the organ. (They did have good mics though lol) I thank God for neighborhood churches and pastors who keep going, remembering GOD sent them, and not allowing the days of small things to make them quit, Courageous enough to keep the church doors open in the hood or wherever they may be.
