Well, this week has certainly had its ups and downs…but more than anything, it’s been change! There’s been change in our family circumstances in several ways, there’s been change in my employment, there’s been change in our routine, there’s been change in our home (the kitchen), there’s been change in what herself has done (painting anything that doesnt move and changing anything and everything in various rooms that can move!), there’s been change in our domestic situation, there’s been changes around the outside of our home, there’s been changes with our neighbours, there’s been changes with our friends. There have been changes within the district I am an Elder for; one lady has recently suffered a severe setback with her health, and another lady, a very special and unassuming lady, passed away today. This is the cycle of life and we all move on. But, thankfully, one thing is steadfast and constant… that is my relationship with Jesus. The Christ who gave himself for me is always there no matter what. He is my rock, he is my salvation, and he is my very best friend. Nothing can ever change that! And He offers that to you tonight, if only you will look to Him, trust in his sacrifice and death at Calvary, and embrace the new life of being ‘born again’ in the resurrection power that he rose with. He is just so willing to offer that to you and he is listening out for your cry of repentance and for mercy. God loves you SO much that he gave his only son for you, that whoever will believe in him will not perish, but have eternal life. Amen!
