Some people ask me why I share pictures of Disabled persons doing extreme things which other people disabled or not might deem unreachable. These persons told me that viewers might portray some disabled as heroes, and thats wrong. I reply that persons with a disability are much of a minority many times unseen and silent that they constantly need to raise awareness and try to keep afloat especially in media. Media portrays many times the image of disability as the charitable cause and THIS IS WRONG. All beings who endures the life which is not the Status Quo and Survive to tell their story are indeed my heroes and I share their accomplishments to nudge media and feed in more of the real life of success from disability spectrum.
