But nobody has an answer, so we just sit and cry. It was much too soon for me to be prepared, So the past few days I just sit here and stare. I need your answers on how to raise your son, I struggle day and night, hoping I chose the right ones. I promise they will be proud and promise they will stand tall, And I promise we will be there every time they fall. You made me so proud to be your brother through the sickness, They way you always fought it, rarely with bitterness. You stayed positive through the end, cracking jokes from the bed, These precious memories will forever be in our heads. You were my first best friend, my first real companion, Always there for me, although sometimes somewhat demanding. From the time I broke my arm and only wanted you, To the time we stayed at Grandmothers and you made me dress like you. You showed me many things in life, mostly good, but some were bad, From helping me with homework, to the blowout house party we had. Mom and dad trusted us home alone at night, Little do they know it was with you I learned to fight. You told me what I needed to get me through school, Even had me paddled as a freshman, boy was I cool! Always the first person I called whenever in a bind, Always begging you…”Please tell mom this time?” I miss you so much, sis, and can’t wait to see you again, We will for sure create some memories then. I admire you for never caring what people had to say, And I just hope I can fight like a girl someday!! I love you sis, Ryan
