Some people know that in 2009, I had a pet pig! I used to wear him in my shirt when he was a baby. He was marked for death as he was the runt of his liter. When I got the call from the pig farmer, he said that if I didnt pick him up that night, he would be dead by morning. This is common behavior by pigs, and when we got him, he was a tad beaten up already. We all took turns caring for him like he was a baby. He and my French Bulldog slept together and became buddies. Sweat Pea grew FAST! When we got him, he fit in my hand, and within 3 months, he was the size of a medium sized dog! His mother was 850 lbs, so I am not sure why I didnt wrap my head around the fact that he would soon get that big! He gave the greatest snout kisses! It is something special to be kissed by a pig! Please consider not eating pork! They are loving and intelligent creatures!
