Some random thoughts--nine to be exact 1. Im really enjoying my new job. 2. But I also really miss certain parts of my old job--especially my TF/XC kids. Even though I work on a computer all day at my new job, I dont miss the computer-portion of my old job. The computer at my new job works. All the time. 3. I like winter but today was just too cold. I wont miss days like this when Im in Washington. It was 42 there today. 4. Our first showing of our house is tomorrow. Thats a very weird feeling. A mix of sad, proud, and protective. Its OUR house, you cant have it! 5. This weekend is my favorite weekend of the sports year, although I am less than optimistic about my teams prognosis. 6. My car wouldnt start on the way to or home from work today. After replacing the old battery (in -145 degree conditions might I add), shes all better. But nothing about that process was enjoyable. 7. I do miss snow days. I also need to get taken off the list for G-As robo calls so my phone stops ringing at 5am. 8. The ctrl key on my work keyboard is not at the very left of the bottom row--it is one key over to the right from that corner. It took me a long time to get used to that with all the keyboard shortcuts I use...but now that Ive gotten in the habit, I keep pushing the wrong button on my computer at home. Oh the troubles... 9. Happy birthday to three of my all-time favorite people: Momma Hocker,(your momma aint got nothing on my momma), Jason (my first college roommate and the most talented musician I know), and Bethy, (an athlete at G-A and the inspiration for our daughters name)
