Some recent things Ive heard really concern me because I know several of you guys an I know you guys are better then all this fighting and calling each other out. You all have allot of great things ahead of you, I dont know what caused your problem with each other but I can promise you if you all dont make peace with one another things can get really out of hand. Duncan is a small town, you wont be able to live here an avoid each other. As I mentioned to Daniel McCoy. Several years ago when I was about 18 years old I stopped at Eastlands on my way out of Duncan, bout to head to Sulphur to spend the weekend with my family. I ran into some guys at Eastlands that I grew up with that were on their way to Tatum they invited me to go hangout with them. Normally I probably would have stopped off with them for awhile cause I was always down to have a good time, but that time I passed cause I had promised my Mom I would go to dinner with my family that night when I got to Sulphur. The next morning I woke up and heard the news about one of the boys I grew up with that had been shoot and killed over an argument. My point is I know how it is to be young and feel invincible and think nothing or no one can hurt you. My friend who was shoot and killed use to think the same way, he never would back down from a fight or an argument. But take my word for it sometimes the best thing to do is walk away or let it go. Dont let someone having to die teach you that lesson. Mark my words thats what eventually will happen, if you go around with a chip on your shoulder waiting for someone to knock it off. Walking away doesnt make you weak or a lesser man, it shows you have some God given common sense. Someday if your lucky enough to grow older and wiser youll look back on somethings you do and say now and wonder what in the world was I thinking. My advise is let it go, forgive and move on.
