Some sad news for those that knew my step father, Bill Sedgeley. Sadly Bill passed away this afternoon in Worcester hospital. We had had it confirmed last Monday that he had cancer, but he was actually doing pretty well and was able to attend the remembrance parade on Sunday in a wheelchair. He even got home and saw off his roast chicken lunch. Unfortunately he was taken very ill again on Sunday night and was rushed into Worcester. Although he was obviously very ill, he was sat up in bed and talking when mum visited him yesterday, but when we walked in this afternoon, it was immediately apparent that his condition had deteriorated rapidly. The last voices he will have heard were mums and his sisters and Im proud to say that I was with him when he finally left us. Im certain that he did not suffer. RIP mate, keep up the guitar riffs. X
