Some talk of a a style called Hindiandi Gung Fu. While the style is not acknowledged except for a small group of Americans, its actual origin may be found in Uechi Ryu Karate. In discussions with Sensei James Thompson, a senior practitioner of Uechi Ryu Karate who trained 10 years on Okinawa with Master Kanei Uechi, there is a principle in Uechi Ryu called Findiandi. As language dialects change in Okinawa as in Naihanchi & Naifanchi, this seems to be the case for what some call Hindiandi. It is most likely a principle of Uechiryu Karate.
