Some that say they are Christians will deny the virgin birth and must deal with the fact that a physician who understood clearly how pregnancy took place wrote this passage. To those that deny this or try to pass it off in any way other than divine I have no problem stating they are counterfeit Christians. Jesus coming into this world was miraculous and divine because He was God and therefore able to breakdown all barriers of the natural processes. Mary had favor because she lived a life that honored God, not that she was sinless or divine in any way but she loved God by the way she lived and prophetically part of the divine family line of David. Only God has a kingdom that lasts forever and that is exactly what was meant by the writer as Luke was divinely inspired to document this event. I understand that God uses the faithful and willing to do amazing things. I am hopeful that God will continue to use me to share His word and truth to the lost. I hope that as I continue to grow in knowledge and wisdom God will work through me to plant more seeds and water when I meet those that have questions. I will be ready to be used like Mary and refrain from doubt that may be placed in my mind from the enemy so I am effective when called upon to do the miraculous and lead the lost to salvation.
