Some things are repeated so much that they become stereotypical in saying and lose meaning! People have heard so many folks say, “don’t look back, until they think looking back can hurt you or hinder you. When in reality there is nothing wrong with looking back at all, in fact looking back should help you recognize all the negative things and people you left behind, make you realize all the things you have been through but overcame, show you the person you use to be verses the person you have become. Besides, if you dont ever look back, how do you expect to realize any of these things, especially how far you have come? I personally love looking back and seeing how I have grown both mentally and spiritually compared to who I was back then, it makes me happy and keeps me motivated to keep pushing forward in growth. People really should look back at some point to stay focused & encouraged in their forward movement and in order to be able to recognize and celebrate their progress. Not to mention it should, would, and could make some people aware that they have not grown or gone very far in life at all. People, there is nothing wrong with looking back; besides, looking back does not mean you are turning back! Just make sure you are looking back while standing still, because if you look back while moving forward, you can’t see what’s ahead and just may run into the same type of people and troubles you left behind… meaning stop from time to time and look at how you have grown, how far you have come and definitely where you came from, as a reminder of where you shouldn’t go again! Looking back is simply a way of learning from past experiences and mistakes, if more people would look back they wouldnt keep ending up with the same type of people in the same type of relationships, because they would be reminded of that particular type they already dealt with. That is why you end up in the SAME SCENES WITH A DIFFERENT CAST, AND YOURSELF ALWAYS BEING IN THE LEADING ROLE. You see its ok, you can look back as long as you dont turn back!
