Some updates for the Festival: Souvenir Tshirts will be on sale $10 at the Festival Fan Club Tent opposite the Music Stage. Potluck sizes. Have a look at ChocoJoe’s youtube of the last Festival. Their survey form only fits for Council run events, so we are having a go at one that will satisfy them and us. Anyone who wants to volunteer to take a few surveys round the Festival please get in touch. Email is best greylynnparkfestival@gmail It may make the difference on whether the Festival character survives and stays in community ownership with funding support or becomes a Council run event. We will try and get the survey onto Facebook and onto our website as well. Anyone with the technical skills for doing this please get in touch. If you want the Festival to continue please write a card to Len Brown stating that. Our 20 years of lobbying and dealing with more than a 100 different staff has been mainly unsuccessful in settling the Festival’s longterm future. INFO ON THE FESTIVAL: The Festival is overseen by a trust board of four people. The Festival is mainly organised by one person working year round 20 hrs a week @ $30 per hour and one person working 15 hrs a week at $0 per hour? The rest is done mainly by volunteers.
