Someone asked me if Im a CHiPs fan. Of course I am, and have been since the very beginning, 1977! :-) I was 7 years old and in 2nd grade. I fell in the love with the show instantly and 37 years later that love is just as strong. I had the action figures and trading cards, scoured the teen mags for CHiPs mentions and it made my week when there was a CHiPs ad in the TV guide. I was over the moon when Jon said my name in an ep and cried when he and Bear and Bonnie and Turner left the show. When CHiPs went into syndication back before the TBS/TNT days, it was called CHiPs Patrol and in my area 4 stations picked it up, so CHiPs was on at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm! Childhood bliss! I ran home from school every day to do my homework with Jon and Ponch and the gang at Central. So yes, I am one of you-a diehard CHiPs fan for life! :-) ~Sue
