Someone asked me today Bridgett how do you forgive folk that mistreat you, talk about you, or simply refuse your time. My response: Just as a capacitor holds energy so it is to you. If you hold on to negative energy you will create that environment for yourself. You will find that everything you do will only produce after what seeds you have sown in your mind. Everything you try to do wont work, you are at a stand still its because deep within your capacitor has become full of negative heat and instead of release you hold on to it. Many times we blame others and hold grudges when the truth be told if you truly look at the whole of that relationship the problem usually isnt the other person but deep rooted things within self. I explained right or wrong, im the type of person that will reach out to correct all debts. This isnt because you are running behind the person, desire to be with the person but it restores both parties power. Forgiveness doesnt mean you must now put up with another persons foolishness but you release good energy so that you can heal and move on. God said, go make it right with your brother and if that person refuses then that debt is between God and them you have done your part. Love folk no matter how they see or treat you and again this doesnt mean you must tolerate their behavior. When a person reaches out to forgive another person that doesnt make that person weak but strong. It is that maturity that allows growth! Never hold on to anything or allow something to become a thorn in your life.
