Turn on your 3DS Launch Pokemon Alpha Sapphire / Omega Ruby Enable StreetPass and save Navigate to the Home Menu Open System Settings Choose Data Management Choose StreetPass Management Disable StreetPass for all titles except Alpha Sapphire / Omega Ruby Pokemon OR / aS) Return to the Home Menu Download Macshift Extract Macshift into C:\ Enable sharing for your WiFi connection Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter Settings -> right click your WiFi connection (will probably be named something like Wireless Network Connection) and choose Properties -> Sharing -> Click Allow other network users to connect through this computers Internet connection Keep track of the WiFi connection name because you will need it later Launch and Administrator Command Prompt In Windows 8 you can bring one up with the key combo Windows->X and then select Command Prompt (Admin) In Windows 7 open the Start menu, Search for Command, right click Command Promp select Run as Administrator type the following into the command prompt: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=NZ@McD1 key=1234567890 Enable your Virutal WiFi Control Panel -> Device Manager -> View -> Show Hidden Devices -> Expand Network Adapters -> right click Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter and select Enable type the following into the command prompt: c:\ type the following into the command prompt: macshift -i For example: machshift -i Wireless Network Connection 4E53504F4F45 To find out your WiFi name open Control Panel, click Network and Sharing Center, choose Change adapter settings on the left and it will probably be named something like Wireless Network Connection without the quotes type the following into the command prompt: netsh wlan start hostednetwork Turn your 3DS on, or navigate to Home Open System Settings Choose Internet Settings Choose Connection Settings Delete all existing connections Choose New Connection Choose Manual Setup Choose Manual Setup again Choose SSID Enter NZ@McD1 without the quotes Choose Security Choose WPA2-PSK(AES) Enter 1234567890 Click the arrow on the right hand side of your screen Choose IP Address Choose No for Auto-Obtain IP Address Choose Detailed Setup Choose IP Address and enter 192.168.137.005 Choose Subnet Mask and enter 255.255.255.000 Choose Gateway and enter 192.168.137.001 Click Ok and a dialog box should show up saying you need to perform DNS setup Click Set Up Make sure No is selected for Auto-Obtain DNS Choose Detailed Setup Choose Primary DNS and enter 192.168.137.001 Choose Secondary DNS and enter 000.000.000.000 Click Ok Click Save Click Ok Click Test If it fails to connect to the internet disable and reenable sharing for your WiFi To Disable: Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter Settings -> right click your WiFi connection (will probably be named something like Wireless Network Connection) and choose Properties -> Sharing -> Uncheck Allow other network users to connect through this computers Internet connection and click Ok To Reenable: Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter Settings -> right click your WiFi connection (will probably be named something like Wireless Network Connection) and choose Properties -> Sharing -> Click Allow other network users to connect through this computers Internet connection Test the connection again. If it doesnt work this time I dont know what to tell you. Im sorry. type the following into the command prompt: netsh wlan stop hostednetwork type the following into the command prompt: netsh wlan start hostednetwork Launch your Pokemon game Connect to the internet Wait for StreetPass.
