Isaiah 57:14-19 (Contemporary English Version) The LORD Helps the Helpless 14The LORD says, Clear the road! Get it ready for my people. 15Our holy God lives forever in the highest heavens, and this is what he says: Though I live high above in the holy place, I am here to help those who are humble and depend only on me. 16My people, I wont stay angry and keep on accusing you. After all, I am your Creator. I dont want you to give up in complete despair. 17Your greed made me furious. Thats why I punished you and refused to be found, while you kept returning to your old sinful ways. 18I know what you are like! But I will heal you, lead you, and give you comfort, until those who are mourning 19start singing my praises. No matter where you are, I, the LORD, will heal you and give you peace. My road has been built up and custom made for me. All obstacles have been removed from my path. I have been revived, made alive in the spirit and regenerated as a brand-new creation, with God Himself living in my heart. God has declared to me that His anger has been removed. All of my sins and willful ways have been put behind me and I can now enter His presence fearlessly, without the slightest sense of guilt for what I have done. I am now under the gentle care of my heavenly Father. He heals guides and comforts me in my way. He has replaced my sorrow with shouts of praise. He has decreed that I am to live safely-in perfect peace, health and safety. Healing is mine and that is God’s final Word on it. Isaiah 54:10 (Contemporary English Version) 10Every mountain and hill may disappear. But I will always be kind and merciful to you; I wont break my agreement to give your nation peace. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills removed, God’s love for me will never fail and His covenant with me will not be taken away. Isaiah 54:4-5 (Contemporary English Version) 4Dont be afraid or ashamed and dont be discouraged. You wont be disappointed. Forget how sinful you were when you were young; stop feeling ashamed for being left a widow. 5The LORD All-Powerful, the Holy God of Israel, rules all the earth. He is your Creator and husband, and he will rescue you. I have no fear of shame, disgrace or humiliation for I am united in a perfect covenant partnership with my heavenly Father. He works both in and through me to make me victorious in every circumstance.
