Someone enquired on detail of my version of the Suicide shifter,firstly an extention piece was fashoined from flat bar and a piece of round bar to accomodate the rubber grip.This is simply bolted to the original foot shifter,the clutch cable was shortened to suit.Then the electric starter button was transfered fom the handle bar to the top of the new shifter handle ( red button)This facilitates easy start at a stall and better control of the launch. The shift is typically clutch in, push forward to select 1st gear the once launched and then simply pull back on shofter to select 2nd gear and the rest.Down shift is clutch in, blip on the throttle and controlled release, sudden release of clutch results in rear wheel lockup (interesting) and obvious duress on cush pins in the rear drive mechanism
