Someone gave my 7 and my hugging buddy, Licenciado Omar Lopez gave me 10, so here goes: (1) I was born in San Francisco, California, The oldest of 9 kids (2) Raised Catholic, now a recovering Catholic, but love Pope Frank! (3) My Fraternal Grandparents were in SF during the Great Earthquake of 1906. My Grandmother who was born on the steepest street in SF was a nurse at French Hospital at that time where she met my Grandfather who was her patient. My Maternal Grandparents moved to SF from Montana when my Mother was in High School. She graduated from St, Paul High School, now closed but the venue for the movie Sister Act. My Grandfather had been a miner but became a Piano Mover in SF, and my Grandmother emigrated from Ireland at age 14, by herself! (4) Moved to Hawaii two days after my first marriage (I have only had 2 marriages) (5) My only and wonderful son was born at Kapiolani Hospital where President Obama was born (6) I lived in Fresno where my three wonderful and beautiful daughters were born at St. Agnes (7) I was the first Executive Director of the first system of food banks in the Country, Neighbors in Need and when Patty Hearst was kidnapped I ran the food distribution program demanded by the SLA (the cover photo on my page shows us announcing the program in February 1974, and at the mike is WA States then Secretary of State and on the right is Randy Hearst and that is me on the left) (8) My secretary and bookkeeper for the Hearst program, People in Need, was Sara Jane Moore who, after the program closed, tried to assassinate President Gerald Ford! (9) After 12 years in Las Vegas, NV, where I directed the organization that raised awareness about the danger of moving high level nuclear waste across the country endangering the lives of millions of Americans (WE WON), my amazing husband and I moved back to Seattle (where he was raised and where i migrated to in 1968). We moved back so my husband of 29 wonderful years, could be put on the Liver Transplant List at UW Hospital. He was removed from the list when they found 5 tumors in his liver and their protocol does not allow him back on the list. And, (10) All of you following me on FaceBook know that I am a proud liberal Democrat and have an opinion on almost everything. PS, and I am looking for a job!!!!!!!
