Someone had shared my post about millionaires achieving success on the 18th try, and got quite the conversation going on it. One of the comments was something to the effect of I am on time 35, and am still going. A lot of the people who have loved me have long since given up on me, and now I am all alone but there is nothing like seeing something in your mind, creating it, and bringing the business to life whether you succeed or fail. I will never quit Now, in one way I honor the sticktoitivness, and passion for their chosen path. However, there is a fundamental flaw to achieving success that is being portrayed that I feel is worth noting for everyone. Often times entrepreneurs are loners and get stuck on this idea that entrepreneurship is something we do by ourselves. The solopreneur has been the rage, but it is a falacy. As an entrepreneur you bosss are your customers, your employees, your distribution partners, suppliers, investors etc. and your reputation with these people will either float you to heights you have never seen, or sink your idea down to Davie Jones locker. You absolutely can not afford to burn your bridges, and succeed. Being a powerhouse isnt necessarily about being likable, but you do need to connect with people who trust you and your abilities. People really dont buy ideas, they buy people. And regardless of what industry you are trying to break into your business is the people business.
