Someone recently asked me if I ever feel like giving up. Of course my answer was no. Im a writer to the depths of my soul. But when faced with the reality of these sites...yeah, that is as close as I get to that point. Really, why do I bother trying hard to make a living when a portion of that living is stolen from me daily? I hope people dont still wonder why it is that piracy is one of those issues that I refuse to just lie down for when its put in my face. Desiree, thank you for stating so eloquently how authors feel about this issue. Readers, if youve ever downloaded a book from one of these sites, it does matter. It does.
