Someone who is unloved will have a massive, empty void down deep - TopicsExpress

Someone who is unloved will have a massive, empty void down deep in their soul. Theyll spend so much of their life trying to satisfy that void. They will break Gods laws. They may even break the laws of the land in which they live. Just like someone who is starving will spend virtually all of their energy to find food, so will someone who is unloved search to find something to fill the void. Someone who is loved, however, doesnt have the temptation to go on such a reckless journey. They are internally satisfied. Their life isnt spent searching for love. They already have it so they can focus on much more meaningful ventures. This is essentially the meaning of Ephesians 3:18-19. The Apostle Paul tells us that if we want fullness of life and power, then simply realize just how much you are loved by your Heavenly Father. Someone who receives the forgiveness offered by Jesus on the cross and steps into that love will never have to search for love again. They have found the ultimate, tangible expression of the greatest love ever given. Ephesians 3:18-19 (New Living Translation) And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
