Something I think of anymore when I read certain Scriptures is - TopicsExpress

Something I think of anymore when I read certain Scriptures is this idea that formed in my mind that the life we have (even ALL life?) is somehow the raw Spirit of God ... on loan so to speak until one dies, when it returns to God. I find much merit in this, and so what puzzles me somewhat is why I have never heard it set forth as a doctrine by anyone? I did some searching even on the web (admittedly not a lot) and I did not come across anything...so I thought I would offer up here on Facebook...maybe a topic of study and discussion? Note: I am not pushing this as a doctrine anyone must adopt because I myself am only wondering if that is how to understand certain things and how well it may or may not harmonize with the rest of the Bible etc. If anyone is provoked to look at this, here is an initial verse to consider? Ecc 12:7 ...Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. 8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.... Note that I also quoted verse 8 to discourage anyone from considering something just in a context I propose MIGHT be a possibility ... Please do not ever trust things from me or anyone ....remember? Let God be true and every man a liar and lean not on thine own understanding
