Emphasizing similarity improve social relations. 3) Get them talking about what interests them. Want to get along from people? Learn how to listen. After you listen say something active and constructive. 4) Make people feel good. People prefer likable people over competent people. Even insincere flattery works: Offer sincere compliments and ask for advice. 5) How to keep a conversation going. Don’t dominate a conversation, but don’t be a non-contributor either. Add to what they say and bounce the ball back. Push and pull create smoothness.
