Something Ive been thinking about a lot lately is how often times its easy for people to get lost in finding their identity in their Work, degree or any other title. Society tells us we need to be this business person, go to school for this or that, make all As in college, drive the newest vehicle, wear the nicest name brand clothes, have the latest iPhone 6, and so on... And its easy to get caught up in trying to keep up with the Jones, otherwise finding ourselves feeling belittled and unworthy. But God says we are worthy, and when we find our worth and place our identity in Him we realize none of that other stuff matters. I know this is a struggle forevermore to some extent, but I want to encourage you and tell you that you are worthy regardless of what job title you have, clothes you wear, car you drive, etc. Store your treasures up in heaven because none of the things of this world is leaving with us when we depart this earth. And none of those things matter to God. Loving others, serving others and Christ is what matters to him and you will find you worth by following and abiding in Christ!!
