Something a bit different today, with a little help from Scott Adams and Rick Kirkman & Jerry Scott. Our 101 students are working on their own little Siyo! books and we wanted to give them an example. This one focuses on -tadegia thirsty Present, a verb that begins with a t consonant. A little more research on the question is needed. For the moment, for example, I would predict that Agitsi agtawovi. would be My mother combed my hair. Note that we can represent the dropped sound in the alphabet simply by leaving it out but we would need a mark to show the disconnect between sound and syllabic representation: a-gi-ta-wo-v-i. No writing system is a full representation of the stream of speech.
