Something has to be changed in Bali about the Taxi situation late night . One Java guy physically attacked me trying to throw me out of his car because I would refuse to pay 500 000 from Mertasari to Sanur , making sure he knows its uncool to fuxxx over another so called orang bule - tourist bodoh . I jumped quickly out , on the other side , landing in the middle of jail road corner in my high heels . Hurrayyy, Perfect spot to be at 2 am :( How to get home , this was the big question while a few guys on motorbikes stopped , wondering if they will take my purse or try to transport me. NYCity trained as I am , I put IT under my tummy to make my already big enough belly even bigger . Haaa , pregnant I looked 4sure ( Thanks God it was dark :) , then started the search for a good guy .Lucky ME ! This took me about another hour to finally trust the so called new taxi hero who turned on his meteran and off home . Sorry Bali , Taxis by night is an absolute NO NO , once again another lesson learnt . Its not like it used to be in the 90s , feeling safe . Those days are over for sure .Shame and sad it is ! I should have TWERKED more , instead of wondering those streets ....NAS KLENG , my last words in my mind .
