Something like this could happen easier than you might think. My oldest son had a seizure disorder, but he never had a convulsion, he had absent seizures that didnt show up on the EEG. After seeing several doctors, and going down some wrong trails, the doctors concluded he was A) doing it on purpose to get out of school work or B) I wanted the attention. If doctors cant find a diagnosis that fits their education they will quickly conclude that its YOU. His school was alerted, asking if I was a problem parent. Fortunately the school had witnessed my sons moments of unconsciousness and spoke up for us both. We finally found a doctor who put him on an anti-seizure med that he stayed on until his Senior year of college. But I know that I was being scrutinized more than my sons medical condition. Praying for Justina and her family.
