Hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm, Mon – Fri. Get you foot in the door with one of the region’s best businesses. Objective Mail room clerks perform a range of administrative functions in addition to standard mail room activities, like sorting, delivering, receiving and processing mail. As a clerk in our mail room, you will have daily delivery rounds as well as rotating front desk coverage assignments daily. Job Description/Duties The mail room clerk is responsible for: Sorting and distributing mail in the mail room and throughout the facility twice daily Making copies, collating, hole punching, and binding Scanning documents and cataloging scanned images in our document management system Ship and receive larger packages and make arrangements with the USPS, FedEx, UPS and other carriers Process mass mailing projects as needed Cover the front desk in the mail room during rotating shifts throughout the week Skills and Specifications You must possess a pleasant disposition and exhibit a team oriented approach to work. Reliability is a must. You should also be able to be on your feet the majority of your shift and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Education and Qualifications HS diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a mail room environment a plus but training will be provided. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
