Something of a rarity the Terrapin 1 a British project for automony when Lease Lend ended -although the cost of development probably would have been better spent just buying DUKWs Terrapin was weird -conned the term driven couldnt be used as the steering station was in the centre with cargo wells fore and aft. A motor driving each side with unconventional skid steering and the forward wheel station did not contact the ground on a paved road way. A Mk2 version which was far more conventional cargo driving compartment layout with a driving station was trialed but no further production resulted. The vehicles in the photo are probably those used during the Rhine crossing. Last two photos are of the Mk2.
