Something that sticks w/ me from NAC. Yesterday after the 16 Pref were done. A lady was talking to me bashing her dog as to how disappointed she was b/c a jump was refused…. I told her you dog is almost 12 years old….its been a long weekend for all of us, dogs and humans. So she refused a jump…she was fast thru her weaves and gave u her all. I dont want to buy her videos even tho shed paid for them….as she was disappointed in her dogs overall performance for the weekend. I said, you will regret it if you dont b/c once your dog has passed to the next life, youll want it as a wonderful memory. I also said you chose to be here w/ your dog I see this lady all the time at trials…I was saddened by her comments about her dog…I do hope that I changed her mind…and that she will now have a different outlook from this event. That little Aussie gave her 110% …..JMO.
