Something to Think About. We being humans think we are so significant and important. We live in our little part of the world and go about our busy lives. But consider this. Our Solar System consist of our sun and eight planets and their satellites such as our moon. Now consider that our solar system is one of billions upon billions of solar systems in our single galaxy. Now consider that there millions upon millions of galaxy’s. Just to give you an idea of the magnitude. Plants circle suns in most cases. The amount of stars in Andromeda our closest galaxy would outnumber all the grains of sand on our planet. That is all the grains of sand on all the beaches, and all the deserts combined would be only a fraction the number of starts in just part of Andromeda. NASA spends considerable amount of resources looking for earth type plants or the existence of life. Technology continues to improve and now NASA says it can tell if a plant has a developed society due to the composition of the atmosphere. So here is a two part question for you. Do you think that out of the countless trillions of planets earth is unique enough to be the only planet to have developed life? And how do you think our society will change if there was conformation that a developed society or life was discovered on another planet?
