Something you may not know about me, & as NZ men we dont really talk about depression.but In the past its hit me pre hard, at one stage iv been sent off work due it, prescribed meds, and has run in my fam. These days I win mostly, I have an amazing Lord, beautiful friends & fam. But sometimes it just creeps up for no apparent reason & can blindside you. Tonight it tried. But as I said I have an Amazing Lord & friends. I have learned to seek and been astonished in, his presence, to reach out and really know what it is to be close to his heart. And everything else really does fade into nothing, the power in praise will never fail to amaze me, the simple act of seeking him with my heart instead of listening to my own head, and suddenly being able again to see all the good in my life laid out in plain sight. To have my vision shifted by focusing on him. Wow. The difference is tangable, enlarging my view of him and being wrapped up in his power and promise. Then my beautiful friends kick in, in moments timed by God that mean they randomly say things that mean only HE could be in control of that moment. And family who I havent heard in a long time, hearing there voice again. God. The power of looking to you. I would encourage you with all I have to seek him with all you have, if only for a moment. That moment will change youre life, you just gotta seek. Enlarge youre view of him, press in. I can testify that in those moments the curve balls life tries throwing at us, HE knocks outta the ballpark!
