Something you told me once.... That this country would be in trouble after the WWII vets were all gone. I am pretty sure I understand now but could you elaborate? I would kind of like to share it in a post. I remember in WWII EVERYBODY pulled together for the war effort. People like Dad built LSTs because they couldn’t get into the military. People bought war bonds, factories were converted into making stuff for our military. Americans pulled together as only Americans could. I believe we have brave men and women serving today but there are differences. Not taking any credit away from them but our WWII guys didn’t have the technology that is available today. In places they threw wave after wave of men into machine gun fire across the bodies of fallen soldiers willing to die to keep America free. There were no free loader programs and our leaders served this Country and it’s People. Folks pulled their own way and helped each other. There was a pride in doing your part and shame in shirking your duties. We weren’t perfect then but we were much better then. Divorce was rare and we were a God –Fearing Christian Nation. What has happened to us? Have too many of us partaken in the “Kool-Aid:? This is a time when we need to turn this Country around but who is willing? Chaplins must marry gays etc. The Christian religion is becoming Ta Boo in the military. I shall send you a few more examples of our pending flip flop so that the Anglo way of living is targeted and eliminated.
