Sometime the greatest battle we will engage in is the one within our own mind. Killing the giants of what if, or tomorrow and even Im not good enough, or its too late, Im too old, will prove to be difficult not because they are unconquerable but because we keep administering first aid to them, reviving them, comforting them and yes even strengthening them by feeding them our hopes & dreams. They suckle greedily, until we have made them strong enough to overcome us. And how do we know when they have overcome us? When we are utterly and completely defeated by them? We know it when we cease trying, when our dreams die in our imagination, when the good ole days were when we thought we could...even though we didnt. When we are comforted by the thing we hate because we have become too frightened to step out of it. When we have given up our spirit and our bodies go on without us. DARE TO BELIEVE AGAIN, DARE TO DREAM AGAIN, DARE TO TRY AGAIN!
