Sometimes I am amazed at how I can impact a persons life, today myself and Raymond Orta performed for about 75 Texas National Guard Soldiers out here protecting our borders, these guys have not been paid in weeks and some havent had a good meal in ages. Even forced to visit the Food Bank and the Salvation Army for food. My good friend Lee Phillips made sure these soldiers had a good day today. He fed hundreds of troops good ole fashion Rio grande Valley BBQ throught out the day and then hired me and Raymond to perform for the last group that came in to eat. One of the soldiers came up to me after the show and told me he has not had no reason to smile the last few weeks but that the laughter he had today made up for it. No matter what your political stance is, these are brave young men and women out here putting their lives at risk to protect our border, Having that young man tell me that almost floored me. Good Vibes!!
