Sometimes I feel that we old people are seen as a necessary evil who have to be tolerated just because we wont go away. I guess I was the same way when I was younger. But I must say that our friends who have come here from other countries dont think that way. When Cliff and I are with them we are honored and respected BECAUSE of our age. They call me Mom or Mommy or Abaye (grandmother). Is it any wonder I have loved them so much?
