Sometimes I look at my foot operation results and shudder...It looks like the surgeon, bless her heart, took my second toe to market... and like the little piggy, cried Wee Wee all the way home. Four months now, yet my scar, a keloid, looks red and nasty... to top it off, it still hurts to walk... and play tennis... looking mighty doubtful... and what a nightmarish trip... surgery = infection, despite my sincere prayer to finally give me a good outcome....and then... pain, pain, pain... OMG...almost lost my mind - maybe I did... then VancoMyicin IV... and sent to nursing home from Hell... and then... kidneys went bad....and blood pressure out of control.... send back to hospital... kidney doc said okay to go home after five days... back to an emergency room in a few days... kidneys bad but sent home... to another emergency room in a few days... and admittied to the hospital... kidneys okay after four days... sent home... got deathly sick... could not eat...stomach pain... doctor orders blood tests and says I am fine... I want to die... got to ER again... oh... you have diverticulitis... in hospital five days with IV antibiotics...oh... you have two hernias... okay take em out... okay to go home with meds... I have allergiic reaction to the meds... skin of arms and legs on fire, worms crawling, bloated, belching almost ER but took double sleeping pills to pass out... gave the doctor a letter the next day... he did not see me but told his secretary for me to stop the meds... I slowly began to get better and even began to work out... one month out - stomach area around the naval hurting... I get nautious again... what is it ...what now... back to ER (they know me by name now...) they can find nothing... here are some pills for ya.... I scheduled an appointment with the surgeon... - he will go look... MRI shows hernia right side... operation on Monday... NO!! blood pressure too high 201/112 and on meds too... into hospital to get pressure down... three meds do it and I get anohter surgery... appendix removed... report came back... acute appendecitis.... egad... a day later sent home... new blood meds too... then a few weeks ago... mouth began to burn... arms and legs tingle... what now.... the cardiologist says to stop the new meds... I do... blood pressure soars... two days later I go back on new meds... and twice burning mouth, face and ears.... egad... so back to square one... and it looks like my second toe will need surgery... Some good people out there have suggested God is teaching me something so that I might help others... Okay already... anybody out there with burning ears, let me know... we will chat... and hey... anybody have a summer like mine... let us talk... I know of your pain and frustration... no way to be 70 or any age I can think of....
