Sometimes I look back on some of the things Ive said and done in the past and I think WTF was I thinking? There were many, many, many other decisions I could have made that would have been 1000 times better than that. Then I think to myself Wait a minute, at this moment you are realizing how you were wrong and now know ways of preventing and/or stopping that wrong action. You actually LEARNED SOMETHING! So I dont regret past mistakes, because without them I wouldnt have grown up; instead I would have just continued to be that person and repeat those mistakes again and again without realizing it. Im human and Ill continue to make mistakes and learn from them, but thats perfectly fine because I know that a mistake is only a true mistake if you dont learn from it. With that in mind, there is no need to dwell on what Ive done in the past. I know who I am and I wont let past mistakes define my character. #wisewordsoftheday #rant #thanksforlistening
