Sometimes I love my friends enough to make fun of them. Im going to see the Avett Brothers next weekend with Author Jamie McGuire. Abbi Glines invited us to come spend the week at the beach with her this week leading up to the concert, but I couldnt go because of Chicago, so Jamie and her family went. Because of the concert this coming weekend, Jamie is leaving the beach on Thursday so she can make it back in time. Well, I just texted Jamie about how I was excited to see her this weekend. She said, Are you going to be at the beach this weekend? We have to leave Thursday. And she put a little sad face and then wrote, But Ill see you at Book Bash, right? I realized that she thought I meant I was heading to the beach this weekend and she would miss me. So I replied and said, We have the concert this weekend, silly. And then she wrote, Oh YEAH! Thats why Im leaving the beach early! I cant stop laughing, but I do feel a little unloved, Jamie. I think the only way to make up for the fact that you forgot about our weekend together is to make me a silly eye video with Abbi Glines.
