Sometimes I sit back and I am very grateful for the things I have in life. I used to work construction back in the day and I am so glad I grew some roots and quit running the roads. I can tell you this, it is a very hard life with long hours and not many benefits. You can not put a price on being home every night and being with the people that mean the most to you. Do I miss the good times? Hell yes!! But if you ever get the chance to stay in one place and grow some roots by all means do it. I miss a lot of the people that I used to work with and I am very glad for Facebook cause I can catch up with a lot of them. Another thing that is hard with working on the road is being apart from someone you love. Long distance relationships are very tough. I lost a part of my friends and family in Pa while living away. But one thing I do is always carry them in my heart no matter where I live. It has always been on my mind missing out on things, seeing kids grow up, life changes. But as I grow older I know I can only try my best. I do make mistakes, nobody is perfect. Do I post a lot? Sure, do I care what people think? Nope!! I just want to make a difference in this world before my time is up. Live is way too short people. LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE!
