Sometimes I think Im the only one who ever says theyre sorry. Sometimes, just sometimes, instead of reacting to someones negative emotions with defensiveness its easier to recognize that somehow someway youve hurt them and that matters more than your persuasive reasons for the legitimacy of your claim to rightness. Sometimes people mean more than being right and I feel a compulsion to just say Im sorry for how Ive hurt them. But its a lonely world out here on the sorry plateau. This is my yearly attempt at a cliche, emotion filled, and philosophical post that I naively believe anyone will even remotely care about.
