Sometimes a birthday will stir up the strangest thoughts and emotions...this morning I opened a new jar of Ponds Cold Cream...and any woman who uses Ponds knows what Im talking about...it smells so nice and so clean--so as I was washing my face with Ponds I thought about how in my previous life I would have a facial at the spa every month, I would go to the best stylists in the Midwest to have my hair cut and highlighted, I would have my nails done every other week...well, as part of my new life I dont indulge in those splurges, and even though sometimes I really, really miss that part of my life Im okay, maybe Im even better than okay...and feeling grateful
