Sometimes at a local show you will see a guitarist, bassist, or vocalist get intensely absorbed in their music. First it will start with small head or body swaying, then it moves on to body rocking to the beat. Next their body becomes freed from an invisible anchor as they hop around stage body rocking, fists pumping, pelvises thrusting. And then the final stage is when the artist is so immersed that they drop to the floor, no longer able to keep themselves standing. But they continue to thrust, pump, and rock as they jam on their instrument or mic. Yeah, that happened to me once in class as I was solving a math problem. I was so into it, I slid off the desk on to the floor where I was solving an equation while rocking out to it so intensely in a trance that it could only be described "making love to a textbook" Except, instead of receiving thunderous applause.... I was sent to the nurse for having a seizure. :/
