Sometimes being the bad guy ie: the parent, is as hard of a task as being a child. We make decisions based on our best judgement and often are criticized by one person or another, and often fail by others standards. In the end, my hope is that my children will come to understand that although I have had my failures, I never stopped trying or loving. It is easier for those parents who turn a blind eye, remain in denial, or do not care what their children are doing or where they are or what type of people they become.
