Sometimes during my childhood years in the 50s and 60s we would go to New York for Christmas to visit my Dads family. Some years my parents would say we were staying home which was good too. Then on a Sunday after church in early December we would sit at the dining table with boxes of cards and my parents would begin to reminisce about past Christmases. I would listen and be really quiet .... and hope. And before you knew it they were frequently planning our Christmas trip. Those trips were so much fun and they had a better chance of a White Christmas. Although I do remember a White Christmas or two in Spartanburg. So question for group members ...... Do you still send Christmas cards?
