Sometimes it is hard for me to have compassion on others, to love those I have given chance after chance, to offer my heart in ways that will only end up hurting it again. Then I remember Christ, how he saw the world born, and he loved us. How he saw us become alive and begin to be human. Jesus saw us and loved us, then he saw us fall. I think of Christ, how heartbroken he must have been, and still he knew what he needed to do. He became like us, living as a man and experiencing a fallen world; that once noble King was born to die. I think of Christ, how he took on sin and defeated the grave. How he tells me to love others, and in that command I am broken all over again. He breaks me, and he mends me, till I know the glory that comes in serving those around me in love and grace. So when I have lost my patience, he reminds me with the most loving whisper, My love echoes, and you are to be my voice resounding the melody of heaven to those who have only heard the white noise of death and so I sing with my actions and words, that my God has come and set this world on course to a land that is far greater than any we have known. He loves like no other, and I hope that you live the chorus of Heaven so that the children of earth would know the face of God; that is how we can change this world, by showing the beauty of who Christ is.
