Sometimes its clear a dog has an angel watching over him. Hoodie (fka Lasso) was one of those dogs. Lasso ended up in a shelter in Little Rock, Arkansas and was there for months on end, overlooked time and again for adoption, and up for euthanasia several times. But THAT FACE and THOSE EARS and his adorable, playful, loving personality--the volunteers and vet at the shelter just couldnt send him to be euthanized. And then it all changed! Lasso got a ticket on a transport to Boulder, CO and a foster home and he was on his way!!! This goofy cutie pie fostered with the SDR director—who was tempted to adopt him herself--and started the search for his perfect forever family. When Jaime and family applied, it was pretty obvious it was meant to be--and from the pictures we just got from Jaime, it looks like Lasso (now Hoodie) definitely hit the doggie jackpot. Outdoor adventures in Colorado, his very own human brother, tons of doggie playmates (including his cousin, SDR alum Luna!), and truly loving humans have given him the home he always deserved. Thanks for the update Jaime. Its photos and stories like these that make everything we do worth it! And congrats Hoodie--you are as adorable as ever and look like youre right where youre supposed to be! xoxo
