Sometimes its just better to let our customers speak for us.... Our initial meeting with Gene DeVore, the owner/president of Basset Construction, was very positive. We were impressed with his honesty, professionalism, knowledge, personality and demeanor. We immediately sensed that he was a guy we could work well with and we were not disappointed. Gene was always upfront about everything from the start. Everything was included in the quotes, from the dumpster to permits to every detail of the work that was to be done. There were absolutely no surprises down the road. He provided us with the quotes from all his vendors for all materials. It was total transparency. Throughout the entire process Gene listened to our questions and concerns with patience kept us informed of everything. Communication was excellent. We always received near immediate responses to emails and/or phone calls. The master bath was the more extensive renovation and required removing a wall and relocating plumbing to create a beautiful frameless shower. Gene helped bring our vision for that bath into focus, using his considerable design skills. The result was phenomenal. The guest bath, although not as extensive of a renovation, was also transformed. The work on both baths was executed by his great crew. The entire team was made up of skilled tradesmen who take pride in their work. All work was done with precision and attention to detail. They checked with us each step of the way to make certain they were doing things to our liking. They acted in a professional manner and were respectful of us and our home, cleaning up each day before they left. We now have two gorgeous bathrooms that we are we are very pleased with. Basset Construction was a pleasure to work with, did a fantastic job, and helped to make the entire process nearly stress free. We would most certainly hire them again in the future.
